Overview
In order to provide you with the opportunity to buy from us online, Calvin James Ltd trading as Buckles of Loughborough – hereinafter termed Buckles - must ask you to provide us information about yourself. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect and how we use that information.
Buckles takes the privacy of your personal information very seriously and will use your information only in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy. We will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information or a list of our customers to third parties.
Your privacy is important to us. By accepting the Privacy Policy, you expressly consent to our use and disclosure of your personal information in the manner described in this Privacy Policy.
Security of transactions
Buckles uses PayPal to transact payments on its behalf. PayPal has its own privacy and security policy which you accept by using its facility for payment.
PayPal will ask for details of your credit or debit card and/or bank account. Buckles is not party to this information.
PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to theirs using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to the PayPal site, the PayPal server checks that you're using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.
When you are transferred to the PayPal secure server, you can verify that you are on a secure page by making two quick checks (this applies to any website):
- Your browser address bar shows a web page address starting with HTTPS not HTTP for the secure page
- Somewhere in your browser window border, there is a small closed padlock image. In Internet Explorer, you can see it near the bottom right: Lock Icon
Once your information reaches PayPal, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. PayPal servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the internet, so your private information is available only to authorized computers.
The PayPal card processor implements various anti-fraud checks on credit card details to ensure that credit cards are being used legitimately.

When you make purchases from Buckles, we need to know your name, address, email address and optionally, notes from you. This allows us to process and deliver your order. This information is transmitted to Buckles from PayPal once an order has been completed.
